Lech Mankiewicz is the director of the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Science in Warsaw, Poland. As a physicist and astrophysicist professor, he is an enthusiast of digital education, and is responsible for the Khan Academy’s resources in the Polish language. Lech interacts with teachers and educators, searching for the appropriate form of public schooling that would support students in their development towards the 21th Century life. Currently, his primary interest is to investigate how modern technology can contribute to a slower, more holistic, more social, mentally balanced and yet cognitively efficient education.
